Chris spent the early years of his career at Midland Bank International Division in London, and WestLB in Paris and Brussels. On moving back to London Chris began a successful career in Executive Search specializing in personnel in the FX and Interest Rate Markets. Chris was one of the founders of BlueGroup International and a member of its Main Board. The business was sold in 2006 for a cash consideration of £16m. Chris is responsible for the Corporate Social Responsibilities, Data Protection and Equal Opportunity policies and standards of the legal recruitment business as well as providing significant support to our executive search teams.
Stephen is an experienced legal recruitment consultant. He specialises in marine, white collar, regulatory and private client positions and works with national, international and global law firms. Before embarking upon a career in legal recruitment, Stephen obtained a 2:1 in Law from Newcastle University.

Ahmed has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the legal market. He is responsible for the management and maintenance of Cogence Search’s bespoke market mapping database. He also provides invaluable direct support to the recruitment team through his ability to write precise, informative and eye-catching advertising copy. Ahmed is fluent in Arabic and Swedish and in his spare time, he is involved in a range of volunteer and charity projects. As a huge fan of Barcelona Football Club, he also writes a very popular blog for Barca Blaugranes. Ahmed has a 2.1 in Law from the University of Westminster, where he represented the University in the ESU (Essex Court Chambers) National Mooting Competition; and a Masters in International Commercial Law from UCL.

Antti is a data management specialist focussed on the legal recruitment market. He supports, and in many respects, guides the work of the business' bespoke search programme.
Antti holds Bachelor and Master’s degrees in International Politics. Having worked in business data roles for more than ten years in Finland, he has developed an ability to provide strategic insight to developing organisational support processes. Before moving to London he was responsible for developing the information management process for the City of Tampere Employment services.

Elizabeth is a Legal Recruitment Administrator – she is heavily involved in mapping candidates to support our consultants and clients in achieving their objectives. She is a whizz with Excel and so provides clear and easily comprehensible reports on a moment’s notice. She is creative by nature and enjoys acting, music and design.

Anna Wojkik is responsible for the smooth running of Cogence Search and is involved in the daily accounts, systems maintenance, reception, continuity programmes, HR administration and advice, and executive co-ordination. She has worked with Cogence since its inception over 8 years ago and is vital to day to day operations in all respects. She is multi-lingual and multi-talented, and her photographic skills are often put to good use for Cogence marketing purposes.
Daniel joined Cogence Search and sister company AER International in 2016. He is responsible for managing and maintaining the administration systems and to provide administrative support to all facets of the business.
